Ahead of the 2023 presidential election,  a political organisation under the auspices of the Tinubu Campaign Group has said it would deploy never before seen innovations to deliver the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president of Nigeria.

Leader of the campaign group, Joshua Ilevbare, in a press briefing, said Nigeria needs a Pan Nigerian in the person of  Tinubu, with the capacity to steer the affairs of the country going forward.

He said the APC government will continue to provide leadership not minding the economic holocausts around the world, such as the unprecedented drop in the global price of crude oil, the COVID 19 pandemic with its attendant recession, the Russian-Ukraine war and the humongous crude oil theft in the Niger Delta.

The group further explained that the greatest bane of Nigeria’s development has been the refusal as a people to identify a national leader whom they all can rally around.

“South Africa had one in the Great Nelson Mandela, Tanzania had another in Julius Nyerere, Ghana had theirs in Kwame Nkrumah,” he said.

He added, “All of these people supported these leaders in times of great difficulties which helped in no small measure in turning the tide. Lagos State, with a population more than a lot of countries of the world, has that kind of leader in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the successes of Lagos State are well documented.
