The traditional ruler of Gwagwalada in Gwagwalada area council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the Aguma of Gwagwalada, Alhaji Muhammadu Magaji, has announced the dissolution of the appointment of all traditional titleholders of the palace.
The monarch in a statement yesterday in Abuja said the decision was reached after the council’s quarterly meeting in Gwagwalada.
He said it was to enable the palace to replace those traditional titleholders that have passed away and appoint new ones that would support the palace to meet up with the daily activities of the traditional council, and that the new development was not meant to witch-hunt anybody.
Magaji expressed gratitude to all traditional titleholders for their past contributions and wished them well in their future endeavours.
The monarch assured his subjects and Gwagwalada residents that very soon the traditional council of the palace will announce its next line of action in constituting the Palace New Council which will be vibrant and stronger for the benefit of the Palace and Gwagwalada.
The Aguma of Gwagwalada, a second-class traditional ruler who is always known for his commitment to the development of Gwagwalada, FCT and Nigeria called on residents to continue to support President Bola Tinubu’s Administration under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
