Popular Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo, has broken his silence following the recent tragic killings in Jos, Plateau State. In a heartfelt message, the actor declared his commitment to the people over any political group.

Sharing his thoughts on his official social media page, the actor said his heart is broken by the violence in the country. He admitted that he had supported certain political causes in the past with good intentions, but he now feels those choices did not align with his true values.

“I choose to be a voice for the people, not for any government. The tragic events in Jos, Nigeria broke my heart,” Ninalowo stated. “I may have made a wrong call in the past, thoughts made in a moment, but I cannot stay silent when I realise I have overlooked my core values.”

The actor’s comments come at a time when many Nigerians are calling on celebrities to speak up about the nation’s security challenges. Ninalowo emphasised that he is now focused on real change rather than supporting politicians, noting that he can no longer ignore the suffering of his fellow citizens.

“My hope is for change, not for political support. I cannot stand by and watch people suffer for any reason. Nigerians are hurting, and I will not be ignorant to that reality,” he added.
