In a bold step toward transforming Nigeria’s workforce into a globally competitive tech talent pool, DGCL Digital Cloud Academy UK is set to host a free AWS Cloud Computing Tech Summit in Lagos.

The event, taking place on April 5, 2025, in Lagos, will equip Nigerians with high-demand cloud computing skills, career mentorship, and direct pathways to international job opportunities.

With the global demand for cloud professionals soaring, this summit aims to bridge the skills gap by providing hands-on training in AWS technologies, cybersecurity, system integration, and scalable IT solutions. Attendees will also receive expert guidance on securing international job sponsorships, remote work opportunities, and globally recognized certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect and AWS DevOps Engineer.

Founder and CEO, Paschal Njoku, a senior AWS DevOps engineer, emphasised the life-changing potential of the initiative, stating that, “Our goal is to empower Nigerians with world-class skills that unlock global career opportunities. The tech industry is evolving fast, and we want to ensure that ambitious professionals in Nigeria can compete and thrive on the international stage.”

Beyond technical training, DGCL Digital Cloud Academy UK offers personalised mentorship and real-world application of skills to prepare participants for leadership roles in the digital economy. With a structured quality assurance process, trainees will learn to deliver high-impact, industry-standard IT solutions that position them as sought-after professionals in the global tech space.
