Staff members of Jaba Local Government Council (LGC) of Kaduna State has applauded the leadership style of the council administrator, Hon. Mrs. Nita Byack George particularly for prioritising their welfare amongst other positive leadership qualities.

The administrator who received in his office several members of staff as a group and at individual levels could not hide their joy as they individually and collectively commended him for giving their welfare a priority.

A team of staff members led by the director of education and social development, Mr. Joseph Gabis and the NULGE chairman, Mr. Michael Joseph, was also in the administrator’s office to express their gratitude to the administrator for the payment of two years’ leave grant within a year.

One after the other, the jubilant workers commended the administrator for demonstrating true and selfless leadership by taking their welfare with utmost importance, saying that in the history of the council, George is the first local government chairperson to have paid two years leave grant within a spate of one year.

They stressed that her selfless service has equally structured the administration of the local government council in such a way that the staff salaries are paid as and when due without any delay.

The workers also added that the staff quarters which are on the verge of completion and the improved condition of service in the local government secretariat are testaments of her selfless service to the staff and the entire local government area.

They therefore prayed for the administrator, wishing her a highly rewarding and enterprising future in her individual and leadership life.

The special adviser to the administrator on media and communication, Mr. Danladi Tasha, appreciated the employees for their commitment and dedication to duty.

Tasha said without their support, her administration would not have achieved anything.

She therefore thanked them profusely for the confidence, while reiterating her administration’s resolve to continue with her genuine services to the local government secretariat and the entire local government area.

The administration again assured the staff that their kind words would never be taken for granted, but rather be treasured in her heart to propel her to keep to her vocation, which is rendering true genuine services to the people and community placed under her care.

She however charged the staff not to limit the gospel of genuine intentions of the current administration under the confine of the local government secretariat, but spread the good news down to their homes and communities, urging friends and relations to pray and support the government across levels in line with their religious injunction.

The administrator appealed to the staff and the general public to shun the habit of saying nasty things about their leaders and the land, but rather pray and wish the leaders well so that it shall be well with the land.
