Jarvis Responds To Hair Criticism, Refuses To Bow To Pressure

Nigerian content creator and TikTok influencer Jarvis, born Elizabeth Aminata Ahmadou, has opened up about the constant pressure from fans who tell her to style or fix her natural hair.

Recently, the TikTok influencer made it obvious that she is completely
appreciating her natural look and is no longer interested in adorning wigs.

She noted that she loves her hair the way it grows and wants to enjoy it and not feel pressured to change because of what the public expects of her.

“I love my natural hair, and I’m tired of wigs. I’m comfortable with my hair the way it is, and I don’t see why I should keep changing it because of what people want.”

She recounted continuous comments advising her to “make her hair,” stating that people often ignore the fact that decisions about personal appearance should be left to the individual, not to what the audience wants, and that she prefers authenticity.
