Governor Sule also sacked the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Barrister Muhammed Ubandoma-Aliyu.

The move came shortly after the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, departed the state after a one-day vist.

The governor himself announced the cabinet dissolution during an emergency SEC meeting, which commenced at about 7pm on Friday night.

LEADERSHIP reports that most of the cabinet members earlier participated in the state function during the visit of the vice president to the State on Friday.

Although the reasons behind the decision to sack the SEC members was unclear at press time, rumours of an impending cabinet reshuffle had been rife in the State before now with some citing disloyalty of cabinet members to the governor as key reason.
