JUST-IN: Gunmen Kidnap Plateau Assembly Member

Gunmen have abducted Hon. Laven Denty, the member representing Pankshin South in the Plateau State House of Assembly at his residence in Dong area of Jos North local government area of the state.

LEADERSHIP recalls that gunmen similarly stormed Dong community last week where they kidnapped a serving member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and a student of University of Jos.

The kidnappers had invaded Mr. Solomon Dansura family’s house around 10 p.m. and whisked away his two young guests in the process.

There has not been official response from the state officials or confirmation by the State Police Command as at the time of filing this report.
