JUST-IN: INEC Uploads FCT Chairmanship Poll Results On IReV Portal

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the upload of chairmanship election results from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council elections on its INEC Result Viewing (IReV) portal.

The elections, held on Saturday, featured 68 elective positions, six chairmanship and 62 councillorship seats across the six area councils.

As of 7:35 p.m., checks on the IReV platform showed that 847 results had been uploaded from the 1,401 polling units in the Abuja Municipal Area Council. In other councils, Kwali Area Council had 75 out of 201 results, Kuje Area Council had 115 out of 262, and Gwagwalada Area Council recorded 204 out of 338 uploads.

Meanwhile, Bwari Area Council has seen 255 results uploaded out of 485 polling units, while Abaji Area Council trails with 42 out of 135.
