Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti has expressed his concerns regarding Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen ahead of their pivotal UEFA Champions League clash against Galatasaray.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Spalletti acknowledged the prowess of both Osimhen and Argentine forward Mauro Icardi, characterising them as dangerous players with distinct approaches.
“Both Icardi and Osimhen are great but different players. One creates chaos, the other tries to use this chaos as an advantage,” Spalletti stated. “We have studied our opponent and know what they would do, but we aim to play our own game.”
Osimhen has been a crucial asset for Galatasaray this season, contributing pace, power, and clinical finishing to the Turkish side’s attack. Icardi, meanwhile, continues to pose a persistent threat in the final third due to his experience and astute positioning.
Juventus will be looking to neutralise this formidable duo as they pursue a favourable outcome in Tuesday’s encounter, a match anticipated to have significant repercussions for both clubs in the competition.
