The Kebbi State Amirul-Hajj for the Hajji 2025 exercise and the Emir of Argungu, Sama’ila Muhammed Mera, has received the award as the best Amirul-Hajj from Saudi Arabian authorities in Mecca.

This was announced by the Chairman of the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency (KSPWA), Alhaji Faruku Musa Yaro Enabo, during a special dinner held on Thursday at Kauran Gwandu Hall Camp in Birnin Kebbi to celebrate the successful conduct of this year’s Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia.

According to the Chairman, Kebbi State again received eight international awards as the best in the 2025 Hajj operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He thanked all and sundry for their maximum support and contributions to the exercise’s success.

Enabo added that the whole success was attributed to the numerous support from His Excellency, Governor Nasir Idris.
