Kebbi State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has commenced digital membership registration as part of efforts to identify genuine members in the state.
The APC chairman in the state, Muhammad Abubakar Kana, who flagged off of the exercise said its aim is to modernise the party’s enrolments in the state.
Kana noted that the aim of the digital Membership registration is to ensure data collection, eliminate inefficiency in the current system of registrations.
According to him, participants drawn from across the 21 local government areas have received the basic training of the exercise and they expected to train others in their respective areas.
He said “APC is committed to inclusiveness and transparency towards the 2027 elections.”
Kana called on all members both old and new to approach their nearest registration unit to get registered.
He assured that before the upcoming national convention APC in the state will compile the list of genuine members.
The exercise, according to him, commenced last Monday in the party’s offices in the 21 local government areas of the state.
