Kebbi First Lady Donates Cash To Cancer Patients

The wife of Kebbi State governor, Dr Nafisa Nasir Idris, has presented N100,000 each to persons affected by cancer diseases at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Birnin Kebbi.

She made the donation after a staged walk-way campaign against cancer in Birnin Kebbi to commemorate World Breast Cancer Day 2025.

The walk started from Government House and ended at AP2 Roundabout.

She also terminated her campaign at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Birnin Kebbi, after visiting Kalgo Community, where she addressed women on the dangers of cancer diseases.

Dr Nafisa emphasised the importance of creating awareness about cancer and supporting those affected.
She encouraged women to visit hospitals regularly for early detection and treatment.

After the presentation of the gifts, Dr Nafisa Idris prayed for the patients’ quick recovery.
