Motorists along Malando- Ngaski- Warrah and Auna road in Kebbi and Niger states have applauded the efforts of President Bola Tinubu in approving the repairs of the long dilapidated road.
In an interview with journalists on Tuesday, Malam Musa Hussaini, a commercial driver, expressed his deepest appreciation for awarding the repairs of the road by the federal government, saying they would heave a sigh of relief after protracted and untold hardship plying the road.
He implored other drivers to complement Tinubu’s efforts of preventing road accidents through provision of good roads by maintaining traffic rules and also avoiding over-speeding and over-loading while on journey.
Also, a farmer in Warrah, Malam Yahaya Warrah, who harvested his farm produce, commended the federal government for the repairs of the road in the affected communities.
The managing director of the construction firm Epsilon Sky Global Engineering Limited, Mr Marcel Hattab, disclosed that his company was awarded the road repairs and will work tirelessly to finish them on time.
“My company will ensure that quality work is executed on the 76.5 kilometres dilapidated Malando-Ngaski-Warrah road Kebbi State as well as Auna in Niger State,” Hattab said.
He thanked the minister of works, David Umahi and the minister of budget and economic planning, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for their support in awarding the contract.
