Kebbi Releases Funds For Gratuity, Death Benefits

Kebbi State government yesterday released N1,138,177,993.11 for the immediate payment of gratuity and death benefits.

The payment is for the employees who died or retired from services of the state and contract staff, local government workers, and local government education authorities (LGAEs)

This was announced by a director in the office of the Head of Civil Service, Rashidu Muhammed Bala on behalf of the Head of Service, Malami Shekare.

Bala further indicated that a total of 459 beneficiaries will receive payments under Governor Nasir Idris’ approved intervention to the welfare and care of both retirees and the families of deceased workers in the state.
