The endorsement was announced at a joint meeting of the executive members and representatives of the Omu-Aran and Irepodun chapters of the Congress held in Omu-Aran.
The meeting was jointly presided over by the chairman of the Artisans Congress in Irepodun Local Government Area, Comrade Oyinloye Oluwanisola, and the chairman of the Omu-Aran Artisans Congress, Alhaji Oseni Abdulkareem.
In a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting, the Congress said its decision was based on its assessment of Ajuloopin’s performance and legislative activities since assuming office.
The group cited his interventions in healthcare, education, empowerment programmes, skills acquisition and other constituency projects as reasons for its endorsement.
It also expressed confidence that his return to the House of Representatives would enable him to continue ongoing constituency projects and legislative representation.
