Kwara Guber: APC Presents INEC Nomination Forms To Danladi-Salihu

The chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress ( APC) in Kwara State, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, on Tuesday formally presented the nomination forms of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to the party’s gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 election, Engr. Yakubu Danladi- Salihu.

The colourful and well attended ceremony was held at the open field of the APC state’s secretariat, G.R.A, Ilorin.

Dignitaries and party stakeholders that attended the event include the governor’s senior adviser and counselor, Alh Saadu Salahu, the coordinator of the Kwara Central APC Elders Caucus, Alh Razaq Lawal, its chairman, Alh Mustapha Kobe, local governments chairmen, and all members of the APC executive committee in the state.

The members of the Alliance for Sustainable Kwara( ASK) and many other Danladi- Salihu’s support groups stormed the venue of the event enmasse to solidarise with the APC gubernatorial candidates.

In his opening remarks, the Kwara State chairman of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Hon. AbdulLateef Gidado Alakawa, thanked Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his love and support for the youths which he noted culminated in the emergence of Danladi- Salihu as APC gubernatorial candidate in the state.

He urged the youths to give their full support to Danladi- Salihu who is also a youth.

LEADERSHIP reports that Danladi- Salihu has been the speaker of the State House of Assembly since 2023 and had also served as the chairman of the Conference of Speakers of the All Progressives Congress States.
