LEADERSHIP Business Person Award A Great Honour – Thomas Etuh

Distinguished entrepreneur and industrialist, Mr Thomas Etuh, has expressed profound gratitude over his emergence as LEADERSHIP Business Person of the Year 2025, describing the recognition as a great honour.

Etuh, one of the few Nigerians who have successfully combined enterprise, vision, and patriotism and widely regarded for his hands-on leadership, said the honour holds deep personal significance and thanked LEADERSHIP for finding him worthy of such recognition.

He made these remarks during a courtesy visit by the management team of LEADERSHIP Group Limited in Abuja on Tuesday. The delegation was led by the Vice Chairman, Mr Mike Okpere.

Etuh commended the board and management of LEADERSHIP for their resilience and commitment in navigating challenges to keep the organisation thriving. He also confirmed his attendance at the awards presentation ceremony scheduled for February 12, 2026, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja.

The leader of the delegation, Mr Mike Okpere, on behalf of the media firm’s management, said Mr Etuh, amid several nominees with outstanding credentials, was selected for the prestigious honour in recognition of his strategic investments across agriculture, energy, telecommunications, and banking, investments that have driven job creation, economic growth, and youth empowerment nationwide.

Okpere said, “Through your visionary leadership, integrity, innovation, and steadfast commitment to Nigeria’s sustainable development, you have exemplified excellence in enterprise and nation-building. In light of these remarkable accomplishments, the selection board found you most deserving of the honour as Business Person of the Year.”
