The League of Yoruba Youths, in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Youth, has honoured Hon. Ebiesuwa Samuel Adegoke with the Peace Ambassador Award in recognition of his philanthropic gestures, unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, and consistent efforts in promoting peace and development across Nigeria.

The prestigious award ceremony was held at the Nigerian Armed Forces Hall, Asokoro, Abuja, and was presented by the National Coordinator of the League of Yoruba Youths for Advocacy and Good Governance, Amb. Adediwura Adesina. The event attracted dignitaries from government, youth organisations, and civil society, who gathered to celebrate Hon. Ebiesuwa’s remarkable contributions to nation-building and youth inclusion in governance.

In his citation, the organisers described Hon. Ebiesuwa as “a man of peace, vision, and purpose”, applauding his continued mediation in resolving conflicts and his role in bringing the Nigerian youth closer to the government through strategic partnerships with the Ministry of Youth. They noted that his selfless service and tireless advocacy for youth participation have set a new standard for leadership in public service.

Adediwura also charged other well-meaning Nigerians, especially public office holders, to emulate acts of philanthropy, compassion, and nation-building, stressing that Nigeria’s progress depends on collective responsibility and a shared vision for peace and development.

The League of Yoruba Youths reaffirmed its commitment to promoting good governance, leadership excellence, and peaceful coexistence among all ethnic groups, adding that recognising individuals like Hon. Ebiesuwa serves as a motivation for others to contribute meaningfully to the growth and stability of the nation.
