Permanent Secretary in the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, confirmed the incident as he stated that the agency received a distress call at 8:28 a.m. on Monday.

Dr Oke-Osanyintolu in a statement on Tuesday, remarked that LASEMA, in response to the distress calls, activated its Eagle Response Team from Cappa Base.

LEADERSHIP reports that the latest incident comes less than two weeks after a 50-year-old man, identified as Emmanuel, was tragically killed by a moving train near the Arena Shopping Mall in the Oshodi area of the state.
