The defendant, of no fixed address, is standing trial on a one-count charge of unlawful behaviour.

The prosecutor, ASP Akinwale Oriyomi, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on April 23 in Ado-Ekiti.

He alleged that the defendant unlawfully and improperly deposited human excreta in an unauthorised place. Oriyomi said the offence contravened Section 6 of the Ekiti State Environmental Health and Sanitation Law, 2020.
