Minister Alerts Against Fake Social Media Accounts  

The Hon. Minister of State, Petroleum Resources (Gas), Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, has warned the public to be wary of fake Facebook accounts in his name.

In a statement through his Special Assistant on Media, Louis Ibah, he clarified that the minister does not post messages bordering on activities of the ministry nor does he solicit for any form of support on Facebook.

He alerted the public to disregard the fake accounts as handiwork of impostors/fraudsters who seek to use it to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

He, therefore, implored the public to report the scammers to relevant authorities.
