The incumbent president of the Eggon Cultural and Development Association (ECDA), Mandy Abluya, has been re-elected for a second term in office.
In the election held last weekend at the Eggon Community Secondary School in Nasarawa Eggon, Abluya got 147 votes to beat his rival, Allan Tsaku, who received 94 votes.
However, the incumbent general secretary of the association, Christopher Allu, lost his re-election bid to Abdullahi Galle, who received 155 votes, as opposed to Allu’s 82 votes.
The position of treasurer was not contested, with Dogara Edzi, emerging unopposed.
Haruna Arugbadu emerged as the vice president, while John Anvah became the assistant general secretary.
Similarly, Edro Akwanga was elected as financial secretary and Abene Samuel picked the auditor-general’s position.
The provost marshal is Audu Ombugadu while Danladi Suleiman Gyabo emerged as the public relations officer. Haruna Adigizi John is the social and cultural secretary.
