The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) on Thursday opened its portal for the 3rd phase registration of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI 3)
Clarifying the registration process, Sokoto State acting Coordinator of NDE, Lukman Abubakar, said that those who had benefited from the 1st and 2nd phases are no longer eligible for the 3rd phase.
According to Lukman, beneficiaries will be drawn from each council ward in the 23 local government areas of Sokoto State.
While submitting that the 3rd phase of RHEI is a continuation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to empowering Nigerians by creating opportunities, Lukman noted that the initiative offers training in vocational, entrepreneurial, and public works skills that can create wealth and self-sufficiency.
Lukman, who noted that those eligible are aged 18 to 45, further affirmed that people with disabilities can also apply, even as he encouraged people to make an enquiry at their office located at No. 7 Dendo Road, Off Ibrahim Dasuki Road, behind Saint Paul Church, Sokoto state.
