NDIC Boss Urges Elevation Of Customer Service Standard In Nigeria

The managing director and CEO of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), Hassan Bello has called for improvement in the service of customers in the corporation and across Nigeria.

“Let us join forces to elevate the standard of service excellence, striving to make every interaction meaningful, every service unforgettable, and to exceed customer expectations,” Mr Bello said yesterday at an event to mark the 2024 Customer Service Week with the theme “Above and Beyond”.

The MD asked staff of the corporation to deliver exceptional services to the organization’s stakeholders. He urged them to celebrate the power of outstanding service, foster collaboration amongst colleagues, and promote a culture of effective service delivery.

He described exceptional customer serviceis as nurturing a culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction. He said this does not only improve individual experiences but alsobuild a lastingreputation for excellence.

He reflected on the essence of exceptional customer service and how going
above and beyond can transform not only our relationships with customers but also enhance NDIC’s core mandate. “As you all know,our passion for what we do drives us to creating a positive and stakeholder-centric culture.exceedexpectations.”

Customer Service Week is an international celebration that recognizes the vital importance of customer service and the individuals who serve and support customers on daily basis.
Mr Bello said the theme of the celebration encapsulates the spirit of collaboration and the unwavering commitment of the torporation to service delivering to its stakeholders.

He also commend the staff of NDIC whom he said have displayed exemplary performances and dedication in fostering a culture of exceptional customer service, particularly payments to depositors of the failed Heritage Bank.
