The Dutch football association has announced that the Netherlands will play a warm-up match against Algeria on June 3, ahead of the World Cup.

The friendly will serve as the team’s farewell game before departing for the United States, where they will engage in another preparatory fixture prior to their opening Group F match against Japan in Dallas on June 14.

Algeria, drawn into Group J alongside Argentina, Austria, and Jordan, will also be preparing for the tournament. The Dutch team will face another North African side, Tunisia, in Kansas City on June 25.
