Brazilian superstar Neymar has voiced his disappointment after being excluded from the national squad for upcoming friendlies against France and Croatia. Coach Carlo Ancelotti cited the 33-year-old’s lack of match fitness as the reason for his omission.
Neymar, who returned to Santos earlier this year, admitted, “I’m upset, sad, about not being called up.” Ancelotti explained that the former Barcelona and PSG forward is “not yet operating at full physical capacity.”
Despite the setback, Neymar remains hopeful about his international future. “There is still one final call-up left, and the dream lives on,” he stated, emphasizing his commitment to training and improving his fitness.
Brazil’s European friendlies later this month will serve as preparation for upcoming competition
