non governmental organization, the New Dawn Peace Advocacy and Leadership Development Initiative has urged Nigerian’s to maintain tolerance and peaceful conduct ahead of 2023 general elections.
Speaking at the launching of the NGO in Abuja yesterday, the founder, Hamzah Adeboye urged Nigerian youths to think possible way forward for the country.
He said for the country to move forward, Nigerian youths should stop blaming people who have brought the nation to its kneels and start thinking of the way out because there are several ways to solve the nation’s many challenges.
On the reason for establishing his NGO, Adeboye said it was at the instant of sanitizing the youths on the way forward to its rebirth.
He stated that ” the aims and objective of our NGO is to support and compliment the government policies and efforts to the creation of peaceful society where all and sundry can succeed irrespective of individual’s religions belief, ethnic and political groups, colour, culture, creed or any other mark of individual difference.
“Our objective is also to carry out advocacy in order to regain orderliness, discipline and obedience of the rule of law, morals and manner in the society.
“Also, to create awareness about overlooked corrupt practices in our society as to curb corruption to the barest minimum.”
On the current presidential candidates in the forth coming presidential election in February 2023, he said they don’t have solutions to the problem of Nigeria as Nigerians problems can only be addressed by youths themselves.
