The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced a mid-season break for the 2024/2025 campaign, with league activities set to pause from December 29 to January 13.

The break is expected to give clubs the opportunity to rest, regroup, and address technical and administrative issues ahead of the second half of the season, as the race for continental places and the title intensifies.

In addition, the NPFL confirmed that the January transfer window will open on January 1 and run until January 31, 2026.

During this period, clubs will be allowed to strengthen their squads, offload surplus players, and make strategic adjustments ahead of the resumption of league action.
