Nigerians, Not Presidential Aides, Will Decide 2027 Election Outcome – ADC Chieftian

A chieftian of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has declared that Nigerians will decide the outcome of the 2027 election and not presidential aides.

Eze stated this yesterday in a statement made available to newsmen in Port Harcourt, in response to a statement credited to the special adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala.

Bwala had predicted that former Vice President and ADC presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, would finish a distant fourth position in the 2027 presidential election.

Dismissing the prediction of the presidential aide, the ADC chieftain stated that the 2027 election will not be decided by propaganda merchants or political jobbers.

“What is particularly laughable is the confidence with which Bwala made his prediction. One thing is sure about the 2027 election, the outcome will be determined by the people and not by presidential aides seeking relevance.

“The same political class that dismissed opposition forces in the past has repeatedly been shocked by the verdict of Nigerians. No one possesses a crystal ball capable of determining the outcome of the 2027 elections.

“The growing coalition of patriotic Nigerians determined to rescue the nation from its current challenges should not be underestimated by anyone. Across party lines, ethnic divides, religious affiliations, and regional boundaries, Nigerians are increasingly united by a common desire for competent leadership, economic recovery, national security, and accountable governance.

“Instead of addressing these realities, Daniel Bwala has chosen the path of mockery and political grandstanding.

“The irony remains breathtaking. The same Atiku Abubakar whom Bwala now dismisses as politically irrelevant is the same Atiku he once described as Nigeria’s most experienced and most prepared presidential candidate.

“Such dramatic and convenient reversals only diminish Bwala’s credibility and reinforce public perception that his politics is driven more by personal advancement than ideological conviction.

“As someone who once occupied the front row in Atiku’s political family, Daniel Bwala knows better than most people the political strength, national reach, and enduring appeal of the former Vice President.

“His attempt to rewrite history simply because he now serves another administration insults the intelligence of Nigerians who witnessed his vigorous defence of Atiku only a few years ago.

“I therefore urge Nigerians to treat Bwala’s comments with the contempt they deserve. They represent neither objective analysis nor political reality. They are merely the predictable utterances of a political convert seeking validation from his new political congregation.

“The 2027 election will not be decided by propaganda merchants or political jobbers. It will be decided by Nigerians based on the realities they experience daily and their assessment of those seeking to lead them,” Eze said.

The ADC chieftian reminded Bwala that the tragedy of political opportunism is that while appointments may come and go, credibility once lost is difficult to regain.
