The appointment of Hon Ekene Abubakar Adams as the chairman, House Committee on Sports, will bring further developments to Sports in Nigeria in view of his pedigree as a foremost sports administrator.

This assertion was made by the director-general of National Institute for sports, Surulere, Lagos Prof Olawale Moronkola while congratulating the new chairman.

“The appointment of Honourable Ekene Abubakar Adams is heartwarming and a good omen for Nigerian Sports. To have someone who has played football, administered it and to have ran two successful outfits in the Nigerian league attests to a new dawn for sports,” Prof Moronkola said.
