The speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emmanuel Emeruwa, has said there is no element of deceit in Governor Alex Otti’s administration.

Emeruwa and others spoke to LEADERSHIP in Umuahia, the state capital, as different sections of the state have been reflecting on the administration’s second anniversary.

He assured that the 8th Assembly would remain focused and continue to give the governor the support the administration required to ensure the greater development of the state.

In his reaction, a business leader in the country, Chief David Onuoha, said the members are delighted to experience the ongoing breaking of barriers of backwardness and stagnation of the state.

The former mayor of Ohafia local government area lauded Otti “for launching the state on the path of sustained growth “ and urged the residents to continue supporting the administration.

Pastor Okechukwu Dike, the CEO of Osikapa Abia Group of Companies, expressed appreciation for the ongoing transformations and infrastructure development across the state.

The former special advisor to the former governor on Agriculture and state coordinator on the Accelerated Rice Development Programme assured of his support to the administration.

According to renowned agriculturist and CEO of Omanma Life Saving and Health Foundation, High Chief (Dr) Boniface Ariekpere, the administration has done much to reposition the state in every facet.

The philanthropist used the opportunity to urge the residents to reciprocate to the administration’s transformation agenda by embarking on massive agriculture to ensure food security in the state.
