Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD, is celebrating his 65th birthday today, July 6, with a heartfelt reflection on life, grace and ageing.
Marking the milestone on Instagram, the screen icon shared a series of stylish portraits, describing ageing as a gift that has made him more comfortable in his own skin.
“The celebration has just started. Age has its privileges. One of them is becoming comfortable in your own skin. The rest is Grace,” he wrote.
In a separate post, RMD looked back on his journey, describing the past 65 years as one filled with purpose, presence and grace. He said he has come to realise that life owes no one anything, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to dream, the courage to begin, the strength to persevere, the wisdom to grow and the grace that has sustained him.
