Akoro called on the supporters to come out en masse to support the team to victory.
Shooting Stars will square up with Plateau United at the Lekan Salami Stadium on Sunday.

“Let firstly appreciate our ever vociferous backers for their support last season, which went a long way in helping the team last season,” Akoro stated to Shooting Stars media.
“They were simply fantastic and it was not a surprise to us when they emerged as the best fans of the season. Well deserved.

“We are on the march again this season and we cannot but plead for more of what we had last season.
“We are banking on their presence and support whenever we are playing at home, beginning from this Sunday against Plateau United.”
