The Senior Pastors of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche and his wife, Dr (Mrs) Becky Enenche, have paid a heartfelt visit to Yelwata community of Guma local government area of Benue State on Tuesday, following the recent gruesome attacks that claimed several lives and displaced many.

Speaking to journalists upon arrival, Dr Enenche called on political authorities to rise to the challenge and confront the lingering crisis in the region with sincerity and courage.

“The solution lies in leaders having the will and zeal to do what is politically right and just. Every leader must remember — one day, we all shall stand before God,” the cleric warned.

Dr Enenche emphasised that beyond political action, the people themselves must rise and say “enough is enough.”

In a reflective message titled “A Visit of Love, Prayer & Healing – Yelwata, Benue State”, the renowned preacher bared his mind on the tragic incident in his native Benue State.

“Today, with my crew, we humbly walked the soil of Yelwata; a land touched by loss, yet filled with resilient souls and silent cries. We came not just with words, but with hearts — to mourn with those who mourn, to pray with those in pain, and to stand in the gap for healing and hope.”

“In the midst of sorrow, we witnessed strength. In the presence of loss, we released love. And in the atmosphere of heaviness, we lifted up prayers that pierced the heavens,” he stated.

For her part, Dr Becky Enenche joined in offering spiritual and emotional support to the community, as both clerics also visited the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp at the International Market, where they shared food items, basic essentials, and relief materials to affected families.

In their prayer session, they proclaimed healing, restoration, and peace upon the land, declaring that Yelwata would rise again.

“To every grieving family, you are not alone. To every broken heart, God sees you and He will heal you,” Dr Enenche declared.

As the people of Yelwata continue to pick up the pieces, the visit by the Enenches brought a glimmer of hope, reminding the nation that faith, love, and compassion remain powerful tools in rebuilding communities torn by violence.

The visit was not only to commiserate with the victims but also to rekindle hope through prayers and relief support.
