Social media influencer Priscilla Ojo has publicly thrown her weight behind her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, following a wave of polarised reactions to his latest musical release, “Joy.”
The track, which features Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz, has gone viral on TikTok primarily for its repetitive “Ikweji” chants and distinctive leg-kicking dance style. While the song has gained significant traction, a section of the Nigerian audience admitted they were only supporting the project out of their affinity for Priscilla rather than the musical content itself.
Responding to the chatter, Priscilla released a video of herself and a friend participating in the viral “Ikweji” challenge. Embracing the movement, she playfully declared herself “Mrs Ikweji,” signalling her full endorsement of her husband’s creative direction.
The couple, who recently celebrated their son Rakeem’s six month milestone, have remained a central fixture in entertainment news since their high profile union. Priscilla also recently dominated headlines for her blunt dismissal of a social media user who expressed interest in becoming a second wife to the Tanzanian star, responding with a firm “Holy Ghost Fire.”
