Ramadan: PDP Deputy Spokesperson, Umar, Urges Peace, Unity

The Deputy Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hajia Farida Umar, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful as the holy month of Ramadan begins.

In a statement issued to journalists yesterday in Abuja, Umar prayed that the sacred month would fill hearts with peace, patience, and renewed faith.

She encouraged Muslims to fast with sincerity, pray with devotion, and serve humanity with compassion.

“Ya Allah, purify our hearts, unite our families, and bless our nation with stability and progress. Let this Ramadan be a month of forgiveness, mercy, and answered prayers for us all,” she said.

Umar also offered prayers for her party, asking Allah to grant the PDP unity, wisdom, and courage in its leadership and decision-making.

“We pray for our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). May Allah strengthen our leaders, guide our decisions, and restore peace and progress within our ranks,” she added.

She wished all Muslim faithful a spiritually fulfilling Ramadan, expressing hope that the holy month would bring light to their paths and success to every righteous endeavor.
