Nigerian rapper Jude Abaga, popularly known as MI, has featured American billionaire Bill Gates, alongside Nigerian comedians Broda Shaggi and Layi Wasabi in a comedy skit, engaging in a lighthearted exchange within a music studio setting.

The skit, shared via the rapper’s Instagram account, depicts Bill Gates offering what appears to be lyrical suggestions to MI Abaga, ostensibly for a song by the veteran Nigerian musician.

MI’s accompanying caption emphasised collaboration, stating, “Sometimes you just need another perspective in the studio, and @thisisbillgates didn’t disappoint. … When good people come together, magic happens.”

While Bill Gates has previously participated in various public relations and humorous segments, including appearances on American late-night television and viral challenges, his involvement in a skit produced by African creators represents a distinct form of cultural interaction.

The video’s circulation has prompted discussions on social media regarding the intersection of global figures and local creative industries, highlighting the evolving dynamics of influence and cultural exchange in the digital age.
