Spanish giants Real Madrid have emerged as the world’s leading football club in jersey sales for the season, outperforming rivals Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, while newly crowned Premier League champions Arsenal failed to secure a place among the global top 10.
According to a recent study by sports business analysts, Euromericas Sport Marketing, Real Madrid topped the worldwide rankings with more than 3.13 million shirts sold during the campaign, underlining the club’s enduring global appeal and commercial dominance.
The Santiago Bernabéu outfit’s impressive figures have been largely attributed to the star power of French captain Kylian Mbappe and Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior, whose popularity continues to drive merchandise sales across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
La Liga rivals Barcelona followed closely in second place, recording approximately 2.94 million jersey sales worldwide. The Catalan club has continued to enjoy strong commercial success, buoyed by its rich history and growing appeal among younger supporters.
French champions Paris Saint-Germain occupied third position with 2.54 million shirts sold globally. The Ligue 1 powerhouse remains one of football’s most marketable brands, aided by sustained international visibility and high-profile talent.
German champions Bayern Munich ranked fourth after selling 2.3 million jerseys, maintaining their position as one of Europe’s commercial heavyweights.
Major League Soccer side Inter Miami claimed fifth place with 2.1 million shirt sales, reflecting the enormous commercial impact of Lionel Messi’s presence in the United States. Argentine giants Boca Juniors followed in sixth with 1.9 million.
Manchester United, despite mixed fortunes on the pitch, retained strong commercial traction to place seventh with 1.85 million jerseys sold. Brazilian club CR Flamengo came eighth with 1.6 million, while Chelsea occupied ninth position with 1.4 million.
Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr completed the top 10 rankings and emerged as the fourth-highest non-European club on the list, largely driven by the global popularity of Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Arsenal’s absence from the rankings is likely to spark debate among supporters, particularly after the club’s domestic success this season, highlighting the growing distinction between on-field achievement and worldwide commercial influence.
