With themes of resilience, spirituality, and love, On My Way highlights Double XL’s determination to make his mark in the music industry. “The message of this EP is that I am here, and I’m ready to claim my place,” he says, emphasizing the inspiration behind each track.

One of the EP’s standout tracks, “Diamonds and Pearls,” features artist Biggest Savage. The song’s Afro-pop influences and blend of unique sounds offer a glimpse into Double XL’s life experiences, presenting him as a “rare and special” artist in his own right.

Another notable track, “Shayo,” serves as a message of comfort for those experiencing heartbreak. The song speaks to anyone who has endured betrayal or emotional pain, offering a sense of solidarity and healing.

Spirituality takes center stage in “God’s Willing,” a track that reflects Double XL’s relationship with God and his belief in divine guidance. He describes the song as a “masterpiece” that celebrates his faith and the clarity he’s gained along his journey.

The EP also explores themes of affection and romance. “Best Buddies,” featuring Vehnorm, is a song dedicated to a woman who captured Double XL’s attention during a time of loneliness, serving as an expression of his feelings. Another Afro-pop track, “Loving,” also featuring Vehnorm, is an ode to those seeking assurance in love. Double XL says the song is a message of devotion, promising to cherish and support a partner if love is reciprocated.

The final track, “Gospel Gangsta,” stands as a defining piece of Double XL’s identity, merging spirituality with street credibility. It’s a representation of a “gospel preacher” who connects with his audience in a relatable way, bridging faith with everyday life.

On My Way captures Double XL’s journey and offers listeners a chance to connect with his story. Each track speaks to a different aspect of his life, creating a multidimensional narrative. “Through this body of work, I hope to share my experiences and connect with listeners on a deeper level,” Double XL says.

As he steps forward, Double XL’s debut EP underscores his resilience, ambition, and commitment to making his voice heard in the music industry.
