His humanitarian activities have reached beneficiaries across different states, religious backgrounds and social classes, according to the account of his philanthropic work provided by the organisers.

The Tozali People’s Awards was established to celebrate individuals and institutions whose contributions have advanced leadership, public service, business innovation, philanthropy and community development in Nigeria.

This year’s edition recognises outstanding contributions across several sectors, including governance, humanitarian service, entrepreneurship, security, women’s empowerment and national development.

Other prominent personalities slated for recognition at the ceremony include former First Lady, Hajiya Turai Umar Yar’Adua; the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi; Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal; Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas; Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (retd.); and Hon.
