Speaking on behalf of Senator Sani Bello, Rt. Hon. Usman conveyed the senator’s heartfelt condolences to the victims and the entire Mokwa community.

“Senator Sani Bello specifically asked us to represent him in conveying his deepest sympathies to the people of Mokwa. Though currently on pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, he is deeply saddened by this tragic event.

“He described the situation as not only shocking but unimaginable. In times like these, he believes the best we can do is to stand in solidarity and provide relief,” the former speaker stated.

He prayed for the repose of the departed souls and for divine restoration for those who lost their properties.

“In a gesture of solidarity, he directed me to announce a donation of ₦50 million to support the victims in rebuilding their lives.”

Hon. Bmitosahi further noted that Senator Sani Bello requested the immediate collection of the relief fund’s account details to ensure the prompt transfer of the ₦50 million support.

Responding on behalf of the Mokwa community, His Royal Highness Alhaji Shaba Aliyu, the Ndalile of Mokwa, expressed profound gratitude to Senator Sani Bello for his compassion and generosity.
