Arsenal will travel to the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium to face Sevilla in the third round of the Champions League Group B clash.

Arsenal will be hosted by a new Sevilla team, which kicked off under new coach Diego Alonso last week, who replaced Jose Luis Mendilibar.

Against Real Madrid, Sevilla looked rejuvenated and aimed all through from different departments of the pitch. The team secured a 1-1 draw against the Spanish giants and didn’t seem like a side that is almost some points off the relegation zone. They now face a bigger challenge—a fierce Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

Arsenal have managed to remain unbeaten in the process of fighting for the top spot in the English Premier League. They have managed to get points off Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, and Chelsea.

However, they will be hoping to return to winning ways in this Champions League after throwing away a one-goal lead at Lens the last time out. It happened quickly, and they will be aiming for all three points at the Ramos Sanchez-Pizjuan Arena tonight.

Team news

Goalie Alfonso Pastor (knee) and attacker Mariano Diaz (thigh) should be the only players out for the hosts on Tuesday, but neither player would have been pushed into the starting lineup.

Youssef En-Nesyri, the Moroccan forward, was forced to leave the game late in their stalemate with Real Madrid, according to Alonso. Nevertheless, it is thought that the Moroccan player is just fatigued and should start in this game.

Arsenal will still be without Jurien Timber, who suffered a thigh injury at the start of the season, as the former Ajax man is still sidelined. However, Aaron Ramsdale will join the squad after missing out on Chelsea’s tie due to the arrival of a new baby. Thomas Partey and Bukayo Saka, too, are readily fit after featuring against Chelsea.

Although Sevilla are on their way towards reformation, Arsenal will stand as a stumbling block. Arsenal are compact and are capable of beating any team at the moment. They might run away with all three points here.
