Ajith said his university is ever ready to partner with private schools proprietors and managers of public schools to promote access to quality education delivery in Nigeria.
He said the workshop organised for the private schools’ proprietors was aimed at sharing ideas with them on the modern techniques of school management, the role they are expected to play as a stakeholder in the Nigerian education sector.

“Currently, Skyline University embarked on training and capacity building of secondary school teachers in Kano, Jigawa, Bauchi among other states with the aims of enhancing their capacity to deliver effective service in their various schools,” he said.
He pledged more collaboration with Jigawa State government not only in teachers and student training but including how to practically apply the knowledge acquired for results, nation building and economic development.
In his speech during the occasion, the director-general of Jigawa State Educational Inspectorate and Monitoring Unit (SEIMU) Dr Ya’u Ahmad Sara said, Jigawa State government is ready to partner with Skyline University for quality education in the state.

Sara urged the private schools’ proprietors to also emphasise on inculcating moral discipline, good character and sound full education to the students above any material gains.
While making his remarks, the chairman of the Association of Private Schools Owners of Nigeria (APSON) Jigawa State chapter, Comrade Ojo O. Felix said, about 50 private schools participated in the training.
Mr Ojo who commended the Skyline University for the effort urged Jigawa State government to co-opt more private schools’ teachers in its capacity building and other skills training.
