Spalletti Plays Down Contract Talks Despite Juventus Upturn

Luciano Spalletti has insisted he is in no hurry to negotiate a new contract with Juventus, despite guiding the club to an important victory.

Spalletti, who replaced Igor Tudor on a short-term deal earlier this season, made the comments following Juventus’ 2-0 win over Genoa.

The result lifted the Turin side into fifth place in Serie A, just one point behind fourth-placed Como, boosting their hopes of securing European qualification.

However, Spalletti remained focused on upcoming challenges rather than his personal future, pointing to a difficult fixture against Atalanta as the immediate priority.
