Stop Your Illegal Meetings, North-West NNPP Tells Executive Committee

The North-West Executive Committee of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has described as illegal, the meeting recently conducted by the Abba  Kawu-led executive committee, saying the executive remained dissolved.

A communique issued at the end of the North-West Executive Committee meeting signed by the vice chairman (North),  Alhaji Sani Yusuf, said the  Kawu-led executive was dissolved right from national level to zonal level.

According to the statement, the North-West executive passed a vote of confidence on the Major Agbo executive committee and the founding father of the party, Mr. Boniface Aniebone.

“The executive committee reaffirmed the dissolution of Abba Kawu-led NWC,” the statement added.

According to the communique, the stakeholders reaffirmed the election of Dr Tope Aluko as the Board of Trustees chairman and Engr. Mohammed Baboyo Abdullahi as secretary.
