Tinubu Approves Deployment Of 4 Permanent Secretaries To Strengthen Governance

In a bid to reinforce the machinery of government and fast-track the delivery of the Renewed Hope Agenda, President Bola Tinubu, has approved the deployment of four newly appointed Federal Permanent Secretaries.

In a statement signed by the director of information and public relations, Mrs. Eno Olotu, the strategic posting, announced on Monday by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, followed a competitive selection process and is aimed at optimising performance, fostering inter-ministerial collaboration, and driving sustainable development across key sectors.

The new permanent secretaries and their assigned portfolios are Mrs Bekearedebo Augusta Warrens (Bayelsa State) – Political and Economic Affairs, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Dr Kamil Ayinde Shoretire (Ogun State) – Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment.

Others are Mrs Nkiruka Bella Jones-Nebo (Enugu State) – Career Management Office, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, and Mr Sani Yargaya Aminu (Kano State) – Special Services Office, Cabinet Affairs Office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

Commending the appointees, the head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack, urged them to bring their wealth of experience, expertise, and innovation to bear in their new roles.
