The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) Door-to-Door Movement, Southwest coordinator, Comrade Adekunle Orisamoluwa, has lauded former Niger Delta militant leader, Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, over the donation of N10 billion to the Delta State Security Trust Fund.
In a statement yesterday, Orisamoluwa described the gesture as a bold and patriotic contribution to the fight against insecurity in the state.
He said the donation came at a critical time when the safety of communities across Nigeria remained a major concern.
“Tompolo’s commitment to supporting the Delta State government in enhancing security measures demonstrates his unwavering dedication to the well-being of our people,” he said.
Orisamoluwa noted that the gesture went beyond financial support, describing it as “a testament to his belief in a safer and more secure Delta State, where every citizen can thrive without fear.”
He said security was a collective responsibility and urged other prominent Nigerians to emulate Tompolo’s proactive example.
“His actions exemplify the spirit of leadership and community service, inspiring us all to contribute positively to the society we cherish,” Orisamoluwa added.
The PBAT Movement expressed full confidence in Tompolo’s vision for a more secure and peaceful Delta, commending his philanthropic efforts as a catalyst for growth and development.
Orisamoluwa urged stakeholders, community leaders, and citizens to rally behind the Delta State Security Trust Fund, stressing that collective action was key to building a safer future.
“We extend our appreciation to Tompolo for his generosity and commitment to the security of our beloved Delta State.
“Let us work hand in hand to ensure that his vision becomes a reality,” he said.
