A pro -Tinubu youth group has co-opted the minister of State for Industry, Senator John Owan Enoh, as a patron, leveraging his policy wins to build a grassroots machinery aimed at securing President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

The Tinubu Youth Vanguard Organisation formally inducted Senator Enoh, as a patron, using the ceremony not merely as an honour but as a platform to unveil a sophisticated grassroots campaign.

The group’s director general, Hon. Innocent Egede, made no secret of the political calculus, the award is part of a broader vision to drive awareness of government policies down to the ward level, directly supporting Tinubu’s second-term bid.

While the group praised Enoh for overseeing a 21 per cent growth in non-oil exports (to $12.8 billion) and certifying over 1,000 SMEs for international trade, the underlying message was electoral.

Egede revealed that the organisation has already distributed over 100,000 flyers to polling unit coordinators and set up help desks in major markets and religious centres nationwide.

“This is why we have come to honour you and also learn from your wealth of experience,” Egede told the minister, framing the encounter as a knowledge-transfer session for political evangelism.

In his response, Enoh validated the group’s strategy, arguing that Nigeria’s size and diversity require non-official channels to broadcast presidential achievements.

“No matter how well the President performs, there must be people outside the government who take these achievements to every corner of the country,” he said.

The minister also used the moment to tout the launch of Nigeria’s first structured industrial policy in February 2026, positioning himself as a key delivery agent for the administration.
