Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray have reportedly put forward an ultimatum to Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen regarding his future at the club.
According to reports from TMW, the Istanbul-based side are prepared to activate the €75 million release clause in Osimhen’s contract, should the forward continue to remain unresponsive.
Despite the club’s willingness to secure Osimhen’s services, the lack of communication from the 26-year-old is beginning to test the patience of the Turkish giants. Galatasaray’s management has made it clear that they need a prompt decision, as time is of the essence in the highly competitive transfer market.
Osimhen rose to prominence during his loan spell at RAMS Park last season, where he was a pivotal figure in the squad. In addition to Galatasaray, Serie A giants Juventus and the financially robust Saudi club Al-Hilal have also expressed interest in the talented forward, increasing the pressure on Osimhen to make a decision regarding his future.
